Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate riding instructor to join our multidisciplinary team at our equine-assisted services facility. In this role, you will be responsible for teaching riding lessons and facilitating therapeutic activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being for our clients. Your expertise will help foster a positive learning environment and support our mission of empowerment through equine therapy.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging riding lessons tailored to the needs of each participant.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all riders during lessons and activities.
Collaborate with other staff members to create individualized lesson plans.
Monitor progress and provide feedback to clients and their families.
Maintain equipment and ensure the riding area is safe and organized.
Requirements:
PATH Int'l Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor credential preferred, but qualified candidates could be hired as CTRI-in-training and mentored on-site until certification is complete.
Experience working with individuals of diverse cognitive and physical abilities, including those who are neurodivergent.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with participants and their families.
Knowledge of behavior management strategies and facilitation of experiential learning is preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a high functioning, multidisciplinary team.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week with potential future increase.
