Veterans Riding Group
The Veterans Riding Group program is a specialized equine-assisted workshop designed to support veterans in their journey toward reintegration, emotional well-being, and personal growth. By partnering with horses—both on the ground and in the saddle—participants experience healing, connection, and renewed purpose in a supportive group environment.
Program Goals:
Foster Communication & Self-Awareness: Participants explore leadership, emotional expression, and communication styles through interaction with horses and fellow veterans.
Promote Stress Reduction & Emotional Health: Working with horses in a calm, natural setting helps reduce stress, build emotional resilience, and encourage mindfulness.
Develop a Sense of Community: Shared experiences foster camaraderie, peer support, and a strong sense of belonging—core values of military service that are often missed in civilian life.
Build Confidence Through Horsemanship: Veterans gain skills in riding and horse care, enhancing confidence, responsibility, and a positive outlook that extends into everyday life.
Encourage Reintegration & Job Readiness: Group collaboration and communication exercises help develop life skills that support personal and professional reintegration.
Women-Only Veterans Group
The Women-Only Veterans Group program is designed specifically to address the unique mental health needs of female veterans who may be struggling with PTSD, military sexual trauma (MST), anxiety, depression, and reintegration challenges.
This program combines equine-assisted therapy, group support, and individual sessions to help veterans reconnect with their sense of self-worth, purpose, and confidence. The group format fosters camaraderie among participants, allowing women veterans to build supportive relationships while sharing their experiences and challenges.
The program includes unmounted equine activities, such as grooming and groundwork, as well as therapeutic riding sessions that encourage personal growth, physical well-being, and emotional healing.
Co-Ed Veterans Group
Th Co-Ed Veterans Group is a mental health-focused equine program that supports veterans of all genders in their journey toward reintegration and emotional well-being. Through horsemanship and guided connection with horses, participants work to reduce stress, improve therapeutic communication, and rebuild confidence. The program also encourages improved mobility and emotional reconnection in a supportive group setting.
