Stan is a 10-year-old gray Percheron gelding. He is a BIG boy! But so very kind and gentle with our clients, both young and old.

In our program, Stan works with clients of all ages in adaptive riding, horsemanship, ground programming and occupational therapy. Weighing in at more than 1,400 lbs., Stan is strong and steady enough to carry a larger rider, but careful and gentle enough to work with the smallest rider. He is very patient when riders are placed on his back using the mechanical lift.

Stan’s personality traits are: curious, innocent, majestic.
