Amy Greene - Physical Therapist

Amy Greene, MSPT, CYT is a physical therapist and certified yoga teacher with more than 20 years of experience helping individuals improve their health, mobility, and overall well-being. Amy has loved horses since childhood and began her physical therapy career in hippotherapy, completing Hippotherapy Treatment Principles Part I in 2004 and gaining firsthand experience with the unique therapeutic benefits that horses can provide.

Over the course of her career in healthcare, Amy has treated individuals across the lifespan, from children to older adults, with a wide variety of medical conditions and functional challenges. She has combined her expertise in rehabilitation, movement, and wellness to support clients in achieving their goals and improving their quality of life.

Amy has completed Level 1 training through the American Hippotherapy Association (AHA) and is scheduled to complete Level 2 training this year, further advancing her knowledge and skills in equine-assisted physical therapy interventions.

A passionate advocate for holistic and individualized care, Amy is excited to return to partnering with horses as part of her practice. She is grateful for the opportunity to provide meaningful, client-centered, evidenced based physical therapy services through equine-assisted interventions, helping individuals build strength, confidence, function, and connection. When she is not working with clients, Amy enjoys spending time outdoors, leading backpacking yoga retreats in the backcountry for women helping people find their connection in nature.
