FAQs:
Q: Is there a registration fee?
A: Admission is free, but this is an important peer-to-peer fundraising event. We are encouraging each participant to create a fundraising team page and raise at least $150. A special 30th Anniversary memento will be given to all participants who raise $250 and above!
Q: How are my donations supporting High Horses?
A: All money raised will directly support the High Horses Scholarship Program. Currently, over 60% of our riders request and are provided scholarship assistance.
Q: Can I bring my dog or ride a bike on the trails?
A: Please leave dogs and bikes at home. Horses can be easily spooked!
Q: Will there be a potluck lunch this year?
A: Yes! If you would like to participate in the potluck lunch, please FILL OUT THIS FORM. Additionally, there will be other lunch items and snacks available.
Q: How long is the trail?
A: Trail length is to be determined. This is not a race or timed event, so we encourage participants to enjoy the nature trails at their own pace and be back in time for lunch and awards.
Q: What if I want to support but can’t attend the event?
A: You can still register for the event, donate, and participate virtually. Send your photos to publicrelations@highhorses.org or post to social media and tag #hoofinit2023 to be featured!
